The Future of CoffeeOur Story
How We Got Here
I started using nootropics (brain health/brain-enhancing supplements) in college and have been researching and experimenting ever since. I would spend hundreds of dollars on as many different supplements I could find, and then I would take them one by one over the course of months, evaluating their effects. Then I would mix two, three, or four, different combinations, different doses. Whether the reaction was good or bad, I would research the side effects and see if the experience could be fixed or improved. It helps that I am very sensitive to what I consume.
On the business side, I began writing about the economy and the problem with currency in 2016, and had the idea for Coffee Nova (“Upgrade Coffee” at the time) in 2018, and incorporated the idea in 2020. At a health conference, I met the SHOPX CEO, who brought me into Web3, and I helped him launch his company in 2020. I have been working in PR and marketing since then, becoming a prolific writer on the subject of blockchain and finance. My passion for decentralization and improving the economy comes out in my writing and is coming out again in my launch of Coffee Nova.
